If you feel skeptical, we can’t blame you. A lifetime warranty does sound like a marketing gimmick and something that, frankly, may not even be feasible.
However, we truly, without a doubt, 100% believe in what we do and are willing to take it all the way. And that’s exactly what we did when we sat down with our founders and handpan makers and made up our mind to offer something we always believed in.

Your request will be evaluated by our tuners and the warranty applies only if they confirm the instrument is out of tune. In that case, please ship it to us.

You can ask for retuning unlimited times with your MAG handpan as long as you used it as intended (e.g.: no dropping or playing it with hard objects)

How do I choose the right scale for my handpan?
We offer a wide range of scales on our website. If you’re unsure, use the “Find Your Sound” section on our homepage or filter products by “Beginner’s Choice” or mood tags. Still need help? Contact us using the form below. We’re here to help!
How do I order a MAG handpan?
Select your instrument, add it to your cart, and proceed to checkout. For orders outside continental Europe, handpans are shipped with Evatek or Airtek cases (case prices not included).
- After placing your order, we’ll contact you within 1-2 working days.
- A €1000 deposit is required upfront, with the balance due before shipping.
What is the waiting time for a MAG handpan?
Our non-stock instruments have a waiting time of 6-7 months due to high demand and our commitment to quality. However, we might have your desired scale in stock or in production, reducing wait time. Contact us to check availability.
Are handpan cases included in the price?
No, cases are sold separately. We recommend the Evatek or Airtek cases for maximum protection. Instruments are shipped in reinforced boxes with shock-absorbing materials if no case is purchased.
How is shipping handled?
We ship globally using DHL or UPS.

What warranty do MAG handpans have?
We guarantee safe delivery and offer a 2-year tuning warranty for normal playing.
If your instrument arrives damaged:
- Take photos of the damage and packaging.
- Email them to maghandpan@gmail.com.
We’ll find the best solution based on the issue.
Return policy

Does my handpan need retuning?
Over time, even high-quality handpans may need slight adjustments. We provide free retuning within 2 years for detuning caused by normal playing. You may be asked to provide a video of the instrument to confirm the detuning.
Note: Dropped or dented instruments are not covered. Playing style also impacts tuning longevity, with proper use playing extending the time between adjustments. All instruments are thoroughly tested before for detuning before shipping.
Can I visit the MAG workshop or showroom?
Yes! If you’re near Budapest or Győr, we’d love to welcome you to our showroom or workshop. Contact us to schedule a visit.
How should I store and care for my MAG handpan?
For best care, we recommend not storing your MAG handpan in a closed hardcase. Instead, place it on a shelf, a proper wall hook, or inside an open hardcase. This allows the instrument to “breathe.” Proper storage can help prevent unwanted discoloration.
Please note: if stored in overly humid or hot environments, some surface discoloration may occur. This is purely cosmetic though, and will not affect the sound quality of the instrument, it simply adds a more “vintage” appearance over time.
To maintain the finish and delay the aging effect, keep your MAG clean. You can wipe it down with alcohol once a week or whenever it feels greasy from hand contact.
We also recommend applying Phoenix Handpan Oil or other handpan-specific oil every 1–2 months. Just add a few drops, then gently wipe the surface so the oil spreads evenly.
