C Ashakiran

C Ashakiran

3,157

The C Ashakiran scale is a rare gem in the handpan world: bright, flowing, and structurally unique. Unlike most handpan scales, which begin with a fifth (quint) jump, Ashakiran starts with a fourth (quart).

This seemingly small difference significantly changes the feel of the instrument, making it more melodic, connected, and linear. The result is a scale that invites storytelling, not just rhythm.
