Tone Fields:

The B Amara scale is just like the Kurd with a tiny difference: it lacks the 6th degree of the minor scale, which creates clearer and open sound.

This little change makes Amara’s voice fresh, perfect for players seeking a minor scale with an airy quality.

MAG Instruments B Amara handpans are created by our master tuners in the MAG workshop according to the highest musical and technical standards using our strict quality control system.

More About the Amara scale

Sound:

• Bright and clear, more spacious than the Kurd.
• Maintains a minor tonality but with a lighter, less dense atmosphere.
• Great for both smooth melodies and rhythmic playing.

Structure:

• Similar to Kurd but it misses the 6th degree of the minor scale.
• Versions with extended bottom notes often include the lacking tone, enabling a full minor
• Scale experience.

This handpan is generally easy to play for beginners, yet offers depth for advanced players.
